Originating from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bay Allen is a distinguished musician with over three decades of expertise in guitar artistry and songwriting. Under the moniker "Bay Allen," he has released a diverse array of 23 albums, showcasing his versatility across multiple genres.

Currently based in Warren, Pennsylvania, Bay is a regular performer in Erie and Pittsburgh, captivating audiences with his dynamic sound and stage presence.

Renowned both nationally and internationally, Bay Allen's accolades include winning the Solo/Duo category at the Blues Society of Western Pennsylvania's Blues Challenge in 2023, advancing as a semi-finalist at the prestigious Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, in early 2024.

Beyond his prowess on the guitar, Bay is a celebrated multi-instrumentalist—securing the 2024 Championship at the Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering's Autoharp Competition. He also serves as a valued staff member at the California Autoharp Gathering in Dunlap, CA. His artistry is endorsed by Paige Capos, and he proudly represents Lightning in a Bottle Records.

Bay's work is imbued with the influences of legendary icons such as Furry Lewis, Mississippi John Hurt, Jim Kweskin, Mose Scarlett, Savoy Brown, Keb Mo, Eric Bibb, Fenton Robinson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King, Albert Collins, Robert Cray, Leon Redbone, Buddy Guy, and John Lee Hooker, among others.
