💛 About the Program
Find Your Joy is a 4-week restorative wellness series created to support survivors of gender-based violence through trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and evidence-based healing practices.
Each session gently guides participants toward self-awareness, emotional regulation, and community connection, helping to rebuild confidence, inner peace, and a renewed sense of joy.
This program reflects the Mindsilike Wellness Foundation’s mission to advance holistic mental health and emotional wellness in Black and racialized communities through inclusive and accessible therapeutic care.
🌸 Program Modules
Week 3 Jan 10th : Revive — Reclaiming Joy and Purpose
Focus: Rediscovering joy, creativity, and purpose after trauma.
Activities: Expressive arts therapy, gratitude journaling, and community sharing.
Learning Outcomes:
- Use creative tools to process emotions and strengthen identity
- Understand the neuroscience of cultivating joy and ‘happy hormones’
- Reframe personal narratives around healing and hope
- Strengthen agency and self-worth
Week 4 Jan 17th: Rebuild — Resilience and Community Connection
Focus: Building a foundation for long-term healing and connection.
Activities: Vision boarding, resilience mapping, and closing reflection circle.
Learning Outcomes:
- Develop a personalized wellness plan
- Identify community supports and resources
- Commit to ongoing self-advocacy and peer support
- Build lasting resilience

Alethia Cadore, MA, RP – Founder, Mindsilike Wellness Foundation
Alethia is a Registered Psychotherapist and trauma-informed practitioner with over 15 years of experience in resilience and community wellness. She specializes in supporting Black and racialized communities through programs that center empowerment, healing, and leadership.
