How It Works

All adults must register by 11pm on 3/21/26.

There is no group meetup spot to avoid people trying to cheat off each other and following each other. The clues are located in Hoboken, NJ and you can start from anywhere in Hoboken.

Bring your smart phone. You will need to take a selfie at each spot to prove you found it. You will also have to use a word from the clue location on our website to unlock the next clue.

The first clue will be posted on a hidden page of our website (eventfulamerica.com) at 11am on Sunday 3/22/26. After you register, you will receive a confirmation email with the specific url to access the hidden webpage. That webpage will be updated at 11am on 3/22/26 with the first clue. Refresh your browser to see the update and clue.

Once you decipher the clue, go to that location and take a selfie with it. The clue will also tell you which word to use from that location. Enter that word onto our website url to show a hidden website page for the next clue. For example, if the word is "broadway", you would enter www.eventfulamerica.com/broadway and the next clue will be shown to you on that webpage.

Once you solve the last clue you, the webpage will tell you to text or email your selfies. If you are first, and your selfies were at the correct locations, you will be texted or emailed where exactly to claim the pot of gold in Hoboken! Other participants will be emailed once the prize has been won. They can continue the hunt but will not win a prize.

By registering you agree to hold us harmless in the event you are injured, killed, cause property damage, etc. You can view and print the waiver on our website at eventfulamerica.com/waiver. You will be required to agree to the waiver at checkout. You do not need to print it or bring it with you to the event.

If a salesperson helped you find out about this event, enter their name on the order form after checkout.
