About this Event
Women’s economic power continues to expand:
- Women in Canada are projected to control nearly $4 trillion in assets by 2028, almost double current levels YET
- 73% of Canadian women do not have a written financial plan to reach their long-term goals.
- About 44% of women say they did not receive financial education growing up, contributing to knowledge gaps later in life.
This gap between responsibility and confidence demonstrates the need for better financial education and support for women which we why the initiative must come from us.
Financial literacy helps us
- Make informed financial decisions for our families
- Build confidence in budgeting, investing, and retirement planning
- Protect ourselves and our families from financial instability
- Close long-term wealth and retirement gaps
- Model strong financial habits for future generations
Because women often guide household spending, improving their financial knowledge can have a multigenerational impact, strengthening the financial well-being of families and communities.
