Financial Literacy Day

Detroit Power Girls we are BACK For April which is Financial Literacy Month! Our day will begin with a yoga class to get us into our Money Mindset. Following this we will have 2 amazing workshops led by Dr Theresa Cry and Kanise James.

Some of the tools you will learn about: how to work with your college refund checks and staying out of debt when you go to college, the best ways to invest and save for your future. How to keep your credit score high and why that matters. What you need to know before you get your first job and so much more! We are here to Empower our girls around feeling financially savy and confident when it comes to their finances.

Following class there will be a fun DJ workshop with Zlight, lunch and snacks will be served.

Please arrive at 9:45 for registration. Space is limited. Moms /caretakers you are welcome to stay but you may also drop off your Power Girls. Please arrive back by 12:50 for pickup.
