The discussion will include recent cases of FRAUD that the community should be alert to.
Our presentation will discuss the prevalence of financial scams in our community, with three goals in mind.
First, to educate the community about the most common types of financial scams afflicting the community today.
Second, to highlight warning signs that someone is the target of a scam and offer advice on what to do if they are in the process of being scammed.
And third, to address how community members can preemptively protect themselves and others from being victims of a scam.
