As small business owners, the idea of bookkeeping can be overwhelming! There are so many aspects we should be keeping up with -- tracking revenue, tracking profit and loss, tracking accounts receivables, completing data entry into a software program, discerning how successful and profitble we are month to month or year over year, and more! And all of this doesn't even take into account the work that goes into the actual products we are selling or the services we are providing!If you have felt like you would like to or should be more informed of all things bookkeeping but haven't been sure where to start then this lunch and learn is for you!
We are excited to have Jennifer Mosbacher as our featured speaker to address all of this and more! Through her bookkeeping and consulting firm, Blue Eye Solutions, Jennifer helps small busineses develop, implement and maintain a great set of books in order to successfully grow into a profitable, sustainable business!
Jennifer grew up in an entrepreneurial family in Florida and Las Vegas where her Dad followed in the generational footsteps of his father and grandfather in the commercial linen industry. This is where she got her start! Gaining experience in the financial services industry with fabulous mentors, she became passionate about seeing small businesses grow and flourish!
In her final corporate role before going out on her own, she was the Controller at a source code technology escrow firm, taking them through the financial due diligence process and a prosperous sale to a large publicly traded UK company!
Following that sale and a ten month stay with the new entity, she embarked on her own entrepreneurial adventure and founded Blue Eye Business Solutions, a bookkeeping and QuickBooks consulting firm where she has been for the past 12 years!
In this lunch and learn, Jennifer will share valuable information around issues such as the importance of proper set up and use of bookkeeping software, building out a chart of accounts to gain clear insights on financial statements, and determining what it is that actually defines financial profitability!
