About this Event
Tzedek DC, a nonprofit legal aid organization committed to promoting racial and economic justice, is proud to offer a free 8-week financial empowerment program for DC young adults.
Note: This program is open to all adult DC residents (18+), as well as UDC students who are DMV residents.
The program provides a series of financial literacy workshops aimed at the specific needs of young adults like spending plans, debt, understanding your paycheck, building credit and investing. The program also offers individualized financial counseling sessions from experts and helps program participants set tailored financial plans and achievable goals. Program participants will be eligible to receive $100 in grant funding to start their investment journeys.
For eight weeks, this cohort will take place in-person from 5:00PM - 7:00 PM on the following days at Benning/Dorothy I. Height Library (3935 Benning Road NE, Washington, DC 20019):

- Thursday, May 21st - @5-7pm
- Thursday, May 28th - @5-7pm
- Thursday, June 4th - @5-7pm
- Thursday, June 11th - @5-7pm
- Thursday, June 18th - @5-7pm
- Thursday, June 25th - @5-7pm
