3. Debt management: Keep debt payments under control, ideally housing and debt at or below 36 percent of income, and avoid high interest debt.
   
4. Investing early: Take advantage of compound growth. The earlier you start, the more time your money has to multiply.
   
5. Diversification: Spread investments across different asset classes
   
6. Protect what you build: Use insurance such as life, health, disability, and long term care to shield against unexpected financial setbacks.
