In honor of National Foster Care Month, this May, join Heroes in Motion, a powerful step challenge where every step makes a difference. Participants across the country will walk 368,000 steps during the month of May. One step for every child in foster care in the United States. Whether you’re walking around your neighborhood or tracking miles on the treadmill, you’re stepping up for children who deserve stability, opportunity, and hope.For our local Hampton Roads heroes, the journey doesn’t end there. We’ll come together on May 30th at the Blocker Norfolk Family YMCA to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished; featuring a fun, family-friendly event with laps, community partners, and well-earned recognition for our participants. Let’s move together, show up boldly, and celebrate the power of every single step.
