Join renowned Great Lakes author and diver Ric Mixter for a captivating lecture on the terrifying autumn gales and the shipwrecks they caused. He shares expert insights, rare survivor interviews, and first-hand accounts of dives to freighters lost to the winds. From his dive to the Edmund Fitzgerald and help in rediscovery of the Carl Bradley to the unique destruction of the Daniel J. Morrell and miraculous survival of Dennis Hale, Ric shares historic details and underwater footage. Covering storms from 1905-1975, including Lake Erie's Black Friday, this popular presentation is a must-see for anyone interested in Great Lakes history.
