This documentary explores one of the most urgent environmental and public health issues of our time: micro- and nanoplastics — invisible, yet already present in our environment and even in our bodies.
Nanoplastics affect our health, ecosystems, and climate processes. The film brings together current scientific findings and highlights what makes nanoplastics particularly dangerous: their ability to accumulate electrostatic charge — a largely overlooked factor with far-reaching consequences.

Die Dokumentation beleuchtet eines der dringendsten Umwelt- und Gesundheitsthemen unserer Zeit: Mikro- und Nanoplastik – unsichtbar, aber längst in unserer Umwelt und sogar in unserem Körper angekommen.
Nanoplastik beeinflusst unsere Gesundheit, Ökosysteme und Klimaprozesse. Der Dokumentarfilm fasst aktuelle wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse zusammen und zeigt, was Nanoplastik besonders gefährlich macht: seine Fähigkeit, elektrostatische Ladung zu akkumulieren, ein bislang wenig beleuchteter Faktor mit weitreichenden Auswirkungen.
