Filter Brewing Workshop with Ryohji Hope
We are very excited to announce a special filter brewing workshop on Sunday 28th December, led by our good friend, Ryohji Hope.
Ryohji brings a decade of expertise in speciality coffee, with a notable collection of awards:
London Coffee Masters (2024 Champion)
Extracted Development (2023 Champion)
UK Brewers Cup (2022 Finalist)
English AeroPress Championship (2021 Champion)
UK Cup Tasters Championship (2025 2nd Place)
UK Barista Championship (Semifinalist)
Other independent competitions (e.g., Orea cup, 2 Brews and a lie)
He currently works in sourcing and quality control at Dark Arts (whose coffee we proudly serve) and is the recent founder of Depulped, an SCA-approved training programme.
This is a deep-dive, 2-hour workshop running from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Participants will explore multiple brewing methods and techniques. It is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced home or professional baristas.
Price: £45 per person
Capacity: Limited to 8 places
In addition to the workshop, Ryohji will be spending the morning in the cafe, brewing a selection of exceptional filter coffees for you to try, alongside our usual espresso offer and some special bakes.
