On-Camera Acting Session for students with prior training and/or experience, will be offered startingWednesday, Oct 2 - 30 @ 7:30 - 9:30/10 PM
Duration : 5 weeks
In this session, students will be working with choices, analyzing scenes from script to screen, applying the Method, to create character and draw the arc.
By focusing on character, actors learn to block their scenes and perform as in life, without having to memorize lines.
Their performances are recorded to note the technical aspect of on-camera acting.
This class also work with separating the actor from the character, cold reading exercises, and mock auditions to prepare students for future auditions and set etiquette.
Following the texts and subtexts, students learn to analyze each material and figure out choices in delivery and emotion while keeping themselves technically close to the camera.
