About this Event

Join us for a screening of Rakhshan Banietemad's Under the Skin of the City (2001). Made by one of the most prolific filmmakers of our time, Banietemad's social realist film takes us into the depths and layers of Iranian society where gender and class politics intersect, genres merge, and the role of the camera becomes blurred.

All are welcome!

This event is presented as part of Glasgow 2026 Festival, supported by Glasgow Life, Glasgow City Council, sportscotland, and Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026.
