Film screening: Mishima: A life in Four Chapters

On the 55th anniversay of the Mishima Incident, where Yukio Mishima, one of Japan's most celebrated living authors attained worldwide infamy, we will gather to watch a screening of Paul Schrader's 1985 biopic of Mishima's life. Hosted by H-J Hoyles, this event will commemorate one of Japan's most interesting literary figures, and a monolothic presence in global writing of the twentieth century.
