The film Coded Bias delves into the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and essential questions of equity.
How does the multifaceted use of facial recognition algorithms serve to misinform and manipulate our behavior? How does AI impact and manipulate us? Will science perpetuate society’s inequities? Learn how our House of Representatives suspended political differences to address the underlying insidious power and control of AI.
The AAUW Colorado Springs Branch Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, in collaboration with the Rocky Mountain Women’s Film Foundation, will co-sponsor the free screening of Coded Bias at PPLD Library 21c. Along with COVID friendly movie snacks and beverages, we will all engage in lively discussion after the film!
