Film Screening & Panel Discussion- My Father's Name

Join A Peace of My Mind for a screening of the short documentary My Father's Name, which follows the story of Jan Frazier as she seeks to uncover the truth of her late father's participation in a lynching. The film accompanies Jan as she reckons with deeply conflicted feelings about the father she loved, grapples with how to hold her family accountable, and faces the dawning awareness of her own unconscious racism.

Following the screening will be a live conversation between A Peace of My Mind's Nick Theisen and the fim director Susanna Styron. We'll talk about the power of story, her journey of making the film, and questions that emerge from the film.
