Stories of home, heritage, and possibility. “My FlorIta” is a 2025 documentary set in South Florida that follows Italian and Italian American voices as they navigate identity, memory, and belonging. Directed by Manuela Filomena and produced by Volpe Media Intl. LLC, the film blends interview, oral history, and poetic staging into a mosaic of distinct chapters, including a narrative thread told from the perspective of a young Italian American man reflecting on his family’s journey. The result feels intimate and contemporary, with episodes that read like tesserae in a larger portrait of community.Schedule
