About this Event
We’re thrilled to announce is coming to Bendigo!
248K instagram followers; 120K YouTube subscribers; documentary filmmaker; wrangler of scientists –Peter will be answering your questions live after the Australian Premier of his docu-series “Roots So Deep” to Australian audiences.
In “Roots So Deep”, Peter Byck meets farmers on both sides of the fence – the folks practicing an adaptive way to graze, and their neighbours set in their family’s generations-old method of doing things. Peter’s team of outcast scientists are measuring what’s happening in the soil and on their farms to understand if using adaptive grazing could help slow down climate change.
Presented by the Healthy Landscapes project, with the GROW Festival.
After presenting at the GROW festival on 22 February, Peter Byck will be coming to Bendigo for this special event. Special ticket price for the movie are available for attendees of the GROW festival. Visit GROW (growfestival.au) to secure this limited ticket.
The Healthy Landscapes: Practical Regenerative Agricultural Communities program aims to raise awareness in their community about sustainable land management practices that improve soil health, reduce exposure to climate risk, enhance biodiversity and increase on-farm productivity. This program is being delivered as a partnership between Macedon Ranges Shire Council (MRSC), Hepburn Shire Council, the City of Greater Bendigo, A Healthy Coliban Catchment project (North Central Catchment Management Authority and Coliban Water), Melbourne Water and the Upper Campaspe Landcare Network.
