<h4></h4>
Busch Gardens in Pasadena has captivated visitors since the day it opened to the public in 1906 until it officially closed in 1938. Once filled with terraced hillsides, waterfalls and ponds, and miles of scenic pathways, the magnificent landscaping made it an ideal location for filming, including classic movies such as The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) and Gone with the Wind (1939). Vestiges of the once-grand gardens can still be found by observant visitors to the area. Join author and historian Michael Logan for this illustrated presentation and learn about the movies that were filmed at Busch Gardens. He will share photos and video clips from classic movies that highlighted the beauty of Busch Gardens.
Presentation will begin at 7:00 pm; PMH Galleries will be open for viewing at 6:00 pm.
Space is limited; advance reservations required.
Busch Garden Walking Tours provided by Pasadena Heritage will be scheduled for Saturday, October 19. Please click for tickets and information.
