Interested in organising events and art projects? Want to have your say about activities on offer in North Edinburgh and be a part of the North Edinburgh Arts creative programme?
North Edinburgh Arts and Imaginate will be joined by Jamie from Folk Film Gathering for a taster workshop all about Film Festivals! Jamie will share how a film festival programme gets put together. The group will watch a selection of short films made by local children and young people, and together will select which films they'd like to be shown at an event as part of the Folk Film Gathering taking place with NEA at West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre in August.
The NEA Young Programmers' taster sessions are part of Imaginate and North Edinburgh Arts project Creative Encounters which puts children at the heart of decision making.
Important Information:
This session is aimed at young people living in the local community (areas of Muirhouse, Pilton, Granton and Drylaw).
Priority will be given to local community members and NEA Members. To find out more about our Membership Scheme and to sign up, visit our website Membership page.
