Film Festival Submissions

Champions of the Arts Film Festival is an event produced entirely by UCF - Rosen College of Hospitality Management students! It's a one-week celebration designed to showcase who we are as entertainment students to both the campus and the local community. We invite you to participate and be a part of the Champions of the Arts Festival that celebrates the creativity of students like you! All films accepted must meet festival guidelines with strict adherence to the following and the pillars of UCF / Rosen: (Integrity, Scholarship, Community, Creativity , Excellence.)
It will be an unforgettable night celebrating their talent, passion, and dedication to their craft! You may be in the room with the next Cameron, Speilberg, or Lucas; you never know! This is an event you don’t want to miss!
The theme of the Film Festival is "The Evolution of Film Fest: Celebrating the Years That Shaped Cinema."
Film Specifics:
· The total runtime, including opening and closing credits, should be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 20 minutes.
· Foreign language films are accepted. Those that are submitted in languages other than English must be formatted with English subtitles.
· All Genres Accepted.
All submissions formats should be:
· Accepted Portals: Google Drive, YouTube, Vimeo, WeTransfer · File Format: MP4, MOV, | .mp4, .mov
· Resolution: 1920x1080 | 1080 (Preferred)
Rules of Film Festival:
Only accepting applicants that are Current UCF/Valencia Students, or Alumni.
Submitting to the festival does not guarantee acceptance. A panel will review all films to ensure the 5 pillars of UCF have been upheld as well as judging the quality of the film. Please abide by the following: No Vulgarity (Limited "foul" language allowed), No Nudity, No Adult-Oriented Material, and No Excessive Gore (Some blood & violence is okay, we love horror films). Please avoid offensive stereotypes and overly suggestive political themes, and respect the various cultural communities that UCF/ROSEN and Valencia represent.
**Important**
By submitting their film for the Rosen Film Festival, the filmmakers are permitting us to show their film to a public audience. They are also permitting us to use their film and images to help promote the film festival through social media, flyers, and websites.
All films must have proper copyrights, licensing of music, and graphics and must abide by all copyright laws.
If found misrepresenting or breaking copyright laws, films will be removed from the festival.

Submission Deadline: Monday, October 25th, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
Late policy will be case-by-case depending on availability and timing.
