Join fellow film enthusiasts to watch and talk about films in Broadway’s popular, interactive Talk Cinema course. Once a fortnight, you’ll watch a specially selected film from our cinema programme, then meet with the group on alternate weeks for an in-depth discussion of the previous week's film. Our course tutor, Andrew Graves, will moderate the sessions and provide additional insights and analysis.
The fortnightly films (5 in total) will be specially chosen by our tutor from Broadway’s film programme, making varied selections to encourage discussion and possibly broaden your film-watching habits too.
You’ll be sent details about the introductory meeting before the first screening in Week 1 after you sign up. Once the film to be discussed is announced on the noticeboard, you can go online (or reserve your ticket at the Box Office) and choose whichever date and screening time suits you best. The group then meets in person every fortnight to discuss the film you’ve watched.

Week 1 – Introductory meeting Mon 12/01/26 and Week 1 film title TBC
Week 2 – Discussion session – Mon 19/01/26
Week 3 and beyond, the same format is repeated

Price: £75 full / £60 members / £65 concessions / £50 under 25s (includes entry into films & tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival)
We want as many people to enjoy Talk Cinema as possible so each term, you may attend either the Afternoon or the Evening Course, but not both.
