Film Auditioning and Marketing for Young Actors

A 3 hour exploration of the opportunities in the film industry for teen and tween actors. Actors will learn how to craft a resume, what to look for in their headshots, how to access casting software, how to prepare sides for an audition, and walk through the entire audition process. Final mock-audition practice with footage available for use on demo reels. This is a quick start for any young theatre actors looking to access film opportunities. Also a great introduction to acting for the curious creative student.

About the teacher:

Mandy Steen is the Executive Producer of Seen & Heard Productions, an organization that creates inspirational films and provides low cost access to performing and media arts classes. As an alumn of The Juilliard School of Drama (Group 34) and a teacher with 15 years of teaching experience, Ms. Steen specializes in developing actors of all ages and developmental abilities.
