We'll be screening the documentary'Election East' by award winning film makers Hazuan Hashim & Phil Maxwell and enjoying live music from the amazing Scouse singer song writer Jazmine Johnson to raise funds for Medical Aid For Palestinians. ‘Election East’ follows the campaign of George Galloway, his supporters and opponents, in the British General Election of 2005. Taking us to the heart of the campaign trail, the film tracks the anti war movement and the political landscape of London’s East End. History, humour and sumptuous photography combine to make this film into a groundbreaking documentary.
