Calling All Creatives! Join Film All Night (FAN) at the 27th Annual Art All Night! �
Are you an actor, writer, director, camera person, costume designer, prop master, or just love the magic of filmmaking? FAN is looking for passionate individuals to join us on April 27th-28th for a unique cinematic experience, just a few blocks from the 31st Street Studios.
What is FAN?
FAN is a fast-paced filmmaking challenge inspired by the 48-hour project. We will have 20 hours to create a 5 to 10-minute short film during the Art All Night event. Imagine the thrill of creating something special in the midst of Pittsburgh's vibrant art scene!
How Can You Participate?
* Actors: Bring your talent and energy to the screen! You may even get the chance to write some dialogue on the spot.
* Makeup Artists: Transform our actors and bring our characters to life.
* Sound Engineers: Create an immersive audio experience that enhances the storytelling.
* Editors: Piece together the footage to create a compelling narrative.
* Camera operators: Capture every moment with skill and precision.
* Costumes & Props: Help create the visual world of our story.
* Equipment Resources: We need equipment resources to borrow or possibly rent. If you have access to cameras, lighting, or other filmmaking equipment, we'd love to hear from you!
The Story: "Dreams of Art All Night"
Our story follows a young artist racing against time to finish his masterpiece for Art All Night. Exhausted, he falls asleep and enters a whimsical dream world filled with very Pittsburgh symbols, e.g. zombies with Pittsburghese accents, ketchup, pierogies with Andy Warhol's face, Lawrenceville's doughboy statue, Mr. Rogers, etc. As he searches for his lost artwork, he discovers an untapped world of creativity.
