Join us every Sunday for Filipino Folk Dance! We are so excited to be providing space for community to come and learn about Filipino Folk Dance and culture together. This ALL LEVELS class will expose you to pre and post colonial dances of The philippines such as Tinikling, Dinaklisan, Pangalay, Taddo and many others. With so many beautiful ethnic groups in The Philippines there is so much to share and explore together.
this class will begin with a short warm up followed by brief discussion about the dance topic. We will then move into learning how to generate proper locomotor movement for each dance through combinations, and across the floor drills.
Please keep in mind that our classes for THE FIRST AND THIRD SUNDAY OF THE MONTH ARE FREE OF CHARGE. Classes for THE SECOND AND FOURTH SUNDAY OF THE MONTH ARE AVAILABLE FOR A SLIDING SCALE FEE.
