About this event
Book your dinner reservation to have a pop-up Filipino dinner with one of the best chefs that Annapolis has to offer and the hottest new Asian inspired eats, Sum Din, in Annapolis!
The reservation dinner has plenty of elevated Filipino fair paired with your choice of two Polynesian-inspired cocktails or two beverages of beer, wine, or non-alcoholic drink. Don't miss this great event at the beautiful MC3 space. It will be hosted on the lawn of the MC3 space under a big tent so no worries about rain! Dinner times will start at 5:30, 6:45, and 8:00.
Additionally, there will be a tasting bento box to-go option as well as cocktails/beverages served on the lawn a la carte.
What type of food can you expect?
The sit-down dinner will include: Shrimp pancit, pork belly inihaw, pork inihaw skewers, lumpiang sariaw, lechon manok lettuce cups, and buko pandan. This is subject to slight modifications but come hungry!
The tasting Filipino box will include: pork inihaw skewers, lumpiang sariaw, lechon manok lettuce cups, and garlic rice.
What's also included in your seated dinner ticket price? The price includes tip service and taxes. Additionally, unless otherwise marked, your ticket includes two cocktails or your choice of two wine, beer, and/or non-alcoholic beverages.
To go orders will be assigned pick up times at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00 or 7:30. You may show up and grab a box if one is ready but we cannot guarantee availability outside the timeslots or if your order will be ready early.
A little bit about our featured chefs and partners:
Chef Alfredo Malinis currently serves as Executive Chef with George Hospitality and the soon to open SALT restaurant. Before that, Malinis had the honor of being invited to cook at the legendary James Beard Foundation from his superb menu and food offerings in Charlottesville, VA. He has opened multiple independent restaurants along the East Coast and was part of the opening team at MGM’s National Harbor. Regardless of the environment, Chef Alfredo’s approach doesn’t change, he upholds the highest standards for every meal. Learn his techniques for creating a buzz-worthy culinary offering, whether you’re a relaxed pub or James Beard House.
Sum Din Team: This team will be bringing an Asian inspired restaurant to Annapolis soon and in the meantime, have been hosting mulitple pop-ups that have been a raving, smash-success.
