Celebrate Filipino American History Month through movement, storytelling, and shared cultural memory. Led by Dulce Capadocia, this interactive program invites participants to experience Filipino culture through traditional dance, personal and community stories, and reflections on how cultural knowledge is passed down through generations.
Participants will learn accessible movements from a Filipino cultural dance while exploring the meanings, values, and stories connected with the tradition. No previous dance experience is necessary. The program welcomes people of all backgrounds who wish to learn, participate, and celebrate the history and living culture of Filipino and Filipino American communities.
