Join us in celebrating the Filipino American's community of faith and the Filipino American History Month.

We celebrate Filipino American History Month to recognize the early Filipino settlers and their role in U.S. history and their great contributions and achievements. Our goal is to increase the public's awareness and appreciation by hosting religious, social and cultural events and activities and by sharing notable oral history.

Georgia is home to more than 47,406 Filipino Americans, who greatly contribute to the multifaceted fabric of our society through their service in the Armed Forces, skills and expertise as medical and healthcare professionals, scientists, entrepreneurs, accountants, educators, lawyers and their participation in public offices, civic affairs, economy and the community life.

The contributions of Filipino Americans have enhanced the freedom, prosperity and greatness that America continues to enjoy today, and the customs and traditions of Filipino Americans are respected and celebrated as part of the rich history of our state and nation.

Let us reflect on our shared history and be grateful for the continued contributions that the Filipino Americans make to the USA and beyond.
