The 2025 Filene Scholar Celebration Concert features the winners of the 44th Annual Filene Scholarship Competition, alongside our current Filene Scholars and faculty artists. Established through the generosity of the Filene Ladd families, this prestigious merit scholarship recognizes exceptional young musicians, providing them with support for private lessons and the freedom to pursue any major while continuing to perform at a high level. We celebrate the Filene Scholars for the ways they enrich Skidmore’s musical life, contributing to a vibrant community of student–musicians through performances, ensembles, and collaborations across campus.
