Une force qui prend possession du corps, en écho à un patrimoine dont chacun est chargé, souvent inconsciemment. Développé parallèlement aux pièces de groupe Au Cœur et Rive, le solo Figures, cérémonie imaginaire qui interroge les sources du contemporain, peut autant représenter l'aboutissement d'une recherche que son volet le plus épuré. Dans une ambiance liminale, où l'intime se confond avec l'histoire de l'humanité, surgit un mystérieux « personnage matière » qui transcende l'espace, déployant une abstraction chargée de résonances ancestrales. Comme dans certaines créations de sa sœur Nacera auxquelles Dalila participait depuis leurs débuts partagés, le corps et la danse émergent de la nuit des temps, du récit métaphorique au lâcher-prise, à la lisière de la matérialité et sans jamais se référer à une tradition spécifique. Fluide et apparemment abstrait, vêtu d'un costume qui semble sans contours, porté par des lumières et environnements sonores subliminales, ce corps donné à l'inconscient appartient à toutes les communautés de l'humanité. Et comme dans les tableaux de Pierre Soulages, la lumière peut surgir de l'obscurité, non en intrus mais comme son jaillissement.

Dalila Belaza investigates the possibility of a universal rite, inventing an imaginary traditional dance "without origin or territory" that links the present to eternity.
A force that takes possession of the body, echoing a heritage that each of us is charged with, often unconsciously. Developed in parallel with the group pieces Au Cœur and Rive, the solo Figures, an imaginary ceremony that questions the sources of the contemporary, can as much represent the culmination of research as its most refined aspect. In a liminal atmosphere, where intimacy merges with the history of humanity, a mysterious "material character" emerges who transcends space, deploying an abstraction charged with ancestral resonance. As in some of her sister Nacera's creations, in which Dalila has participated since their shared beginnings, the body and dance emerge from the mists of time, from metaphorical narrative to letting go, on the edge of materiality and without ever referring to a specific tradition. Fluid and apparently abstract, dressed in a costume that seems to have no contours, carried by subliminal lights and sound environments, this body given over to the unconscious belongs to all the communities of humanity. And, as in the paintings of Pierre Soulages, light can emerge from the darkness, not as an intruder but as a burst of light.
