Description: Strip away the pressure of the perfect portrait and reconnect with the pure joy of making marks. Welcome to Figure in Focus, an informal, experimental life drawing class designed to help you see, sketch, and explore the human form in a completely new light.

Led by an experienced artist, illustrator, and motion designer, this class is built around a lifetime of visual expertise. Over the years, I’ve learned that the best art happens when you let go of expectations and embrace the process. Now, I want to share the practical skills, unique techniques, and refreshing approaches I’ve gathered throughout my career in illustration and visual effects.

Through a series of playful, guided drawing exercises, you will develop your observational skills, build confidence in your line-work, and learn to view the human figure through a dynamic new lens.

Who is this for? Everyone! Whether you haven't picked up a pencil since school, or you’re an experienced artist looking to shake up your routine, this class offers a supportive, pressure-free environment to experiment and grow.

Bring an open mind, leave your expectations at the door, and get ready to enjoy the creative process.

There will be some materials provided: paper, drawing boards, art materials etc. but feel free to bring you own if you prefer. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled. There is parking around the back that you are welcome to use.
