Led by artist Alison Stinely, this workshop will introduce various methods of recording the human form from a model in-studio. Students will be introduced to techniques including contour drawing, linear gesture drawing, and shadow mass gesture drawing, and will work from the most basic methods to more complex techniques. The day will culminate with an extended pose and a brief group critique.
No drawing experience is required; this workshop is perfect for beginning artists as well as those who are more seasoned.
All necessary supplies will be provided by Foundation Art Academy. Students may bring their own supplies if they wish but this is not necessary.
