Figure Drawing (August)
About this Event
Draw from life! Open to ALL skill levels, in our monthly Figure Drawing class an ACF artist will guide you as you draw from a clothed live model. Expect several short warm-up sketches, gradually increasing the length of the pose and finishing with an hour-long drawing. This class is appropriate for ages 13+. Bring your own supplies and a few dollars to tip your model!
New to this? Here's some suggested supplies:
--Newsprint paper, 18"x24" or bigger (15+ sheets)
--Drawing or Mixed Media paper, 18"x24" or bigger (3+ sheets)
--charcoal pencil or sticks
--permanent marker
--Whatever makes you happy: crayons, watercolors, fingerpaints?
This is only suggested supplies... if all you have is printer paper and a mechanical pencil, that will be perfect :)
This class is held on our historic building's 2nd story. Due to the age of the building, there is no elevator. Please contact us for accessibility accomodations--we want YOU to be there!
