Blues Music Award nominee Johnny Burgin brings his blues revue to The Skokie, joined by Ohio blues guitarist and singer Noah Wotherspoon. Johnny learned from the Chicago masters, held a seven-year Wicker Park residency, and has ten records on Delmark and Vizztone. He plays 200 shows a year worldwide, but always makes time for this annual homecoming. Noah turned heads as a blues prodigy in the 90s and has since matured into a sensitive vocalist with an out-of-the-box style and a quiet but strong charisma.
A donation from every ticket benefits Will’s Place, the nonprofit cafe in downtown Skokie providing employment and training for adults with disabilities.
Lobby and bar open at 6:30 pm, house opens at 7:00 pm
