Join us on Thursday, September 25 from 6-8 pm in our Bendel Galleries for the Opening Reception of FIERCE PLANETS. This event is free of charge, but we request that you RSVP online.
Our fall exhibition showcases a fascinating collection of cosmically-themed contemporary quilt and textile art handcrafted by a diverse group of artists from 11 countries around the world. Artists drew inspiration from Dr. Sabine Stanley’s planetary science research at Johns Hopkins University, and her new book What’s Hidden Inside Planets? Exhibition produced by Studio Art Quilt Associates, (SAQA) & Johns Hopkins Wavelengths.
