Sunday, September 21st – Hewlett Gulch Bird WalkJoin trip leader Nolan Bunting for an early morning adventure in the Roosevelt National Forest. We’ll set out at 7:30am along Hewlett Gulch, a scenic trail that follows a creek through rugged terrain. Expect rocky footing, some inclines of 20–30 degrees, and plenty of opportunities to spot birds in this beautiful mountain setting.
The pace will be unhurried, covering about ½ mile in 1 to 1.5 hours.
