Join us for a full day of STEM activities, workshops and exploration as we travel to the Impression 5 Science Center in Lansing, MI! When?

Young Children (Ages 0-23 months) - FREE
Adults & Children (ages 2+) - $10 each
The Details?
Admission includes access to a variety of exhibits for families to explore at their own pace. Our trip will include opportunities for kids to attend up to 3 different workshops at an additional cost that need to be schedule ahead of time. Families can pick and pay for what they want and the cost will be added to your invoice. Invoices will be emailed in February with all payments due by March 13.

Workshop Details:
Workshop #1 - Slime
Discover how molecules interact in solids and liquids! Learn about other basic chemistry principles, such as physical and chemical changes. Learners then mix ingredients to create their own colorful slime to take home!
Fee: $3.00/student Grades: All Duration: 30 min.
Workshop #2 - Force & Motion
Explore the science of force and motion, and participate in a variety of challenges to help build an understanding of motion, speed, acceleration, gravity, friction, and force!
Fee: $3.00/student Grades: All Duration: 45 min.
Workshop #3 - Engineering Design Challenge
Sail to the finish line in this collaborative design process challenge! Create the mast and sail for a wind powered car and test your success through different iterations as you improve your design plans and bring them to life!
Fee: $3.00/student Grades: All Duration: 45 min.
