Join us at The Heirloom Yard for an afternoon of cut flowers - planning, growing and arranging! This is a multi-faceted workshop - predominantly focused on cut-flower growing, specific to our North Florida growing zone. Workshop size is limited to 8 participants; this smaller group allows for more focused dialogue and participant engagement.
*Growing cut flowers in North Florida / zone 9A. In this section, we will review planning, where to start, what to expect, timing / scheduling and resources for the home gardener.
*We'll tour The Heirloom Yard with a review of our 2022 Spring growing plans.
*Lastly, we will chat floral design - specifically how we approach it at The Heirloom Yard. Participants will create a fresh, seasonal arrangement to take home.
This workshop is perfect for those who want to learn more about cultivating cut flowers in our specific growing zone. Expect a highly engaging couple of hours - bring your questions, ideas and some creativity for your floral arrangement!
