SAVE THE DATE!!The HOTTEST art party in New Orleans is back! Arts District New Orleans (ADNO), the nonprofit organization that founded the popular White Linen Night in 1994, is pleased to announce the 30th anniversary of the event! Returning to downtown New Orleans on August 3, 2024, the event takes place in conjunction with the monthly First Saturday Gallery Openings and art walk in the district. Fidelity Bank returns as the title sponsor of the event, which will take place from 5-10 p.m. on the 300-600 blocks of Julia Street in New Orleans’ historic Warehouse Arts District, as well as the 500 block of Saint Joseph - bridging the Julia-street thoroughfare with surrounding galleries, museums, and institutions. Guests are strongly encouraged to don their best white linen looks and enjoy exhibitions at 18 member galleries and museums, the best food trucks in the region, and art-centered street activations. The event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit organization, with proceeds from drink sales at the 10 festival bars going to support its programming throughout the year. Attendees can enjoy craft cocktails designed by famed New Orleans mixologist and influencer Deniseea Head, in addition to frozen drinks, beer, wine, and spirits from a wide variety of brands.
Each gallery will present new exhibitions, with world-class art installations from the talented artists represented. With 16 galleries presenting shows, in addition to a number of pop-up exhibitions with partners in the neighborhood, there is a wide range of artwork to experience. This event has something for everyone, and the action isn't just on Julia Street! ADNO incudes galleries and museums just-off Julia on both Camp and Magazine Streets, and the block party will stretch down four closed blocks of Julia Street in addition to a block party in the "Museum corridor" by The Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) and The Ogden Museum of Southern Art at St. Joseph and Camp Street.
