Gyémánt Bálint és Mike Gotthard generációjuknak meghatározó alakjai és bár eddig elsősorban különböző zenei műfajokban teljesedtek ki, gondolkodásuk és a zene iránti végtelen elköteleződésük közös kapcsolódás volt pályájuk során. A Zeneművészeti Egyetem Jazz Tanszékéről ismerik egymást, anyanyelvi szinten beszélik a jazz és az improvizált zene nyelvét, ráadásul az idei évben mindkettőjük saját produkciója teltház előtt adott koncertet a Művészetek Palotájában.
Kettejük unikális zenei találkozásával a BJC közönsége találkozhat először. Saját kompozícióikon és jazz standardeken kívül közös kedvencük, Jimi Hendrix dalait is újra formálják koncertjükön.

Bálint Gyémánt and Mike Gotthard are defining figures of their generation and although they have primarily fulfilled themselves in different musical genres, their thinking and endless commitment to music have been a common connection throughout their careers. They know each other from the Jazz Department of the University of Music, they speak the language of jazz and improvised music at a native level, and this year both of their own productions gave a sold-out concert at the Palace of Arts.
The BJC audience will be able to experience the unique musical encounter of the two for the first time. In addition to their own compositions and jazz standards, they will also rework the songs of their common favorite, Jimi Hendrix, at their concert.
