Fiber Collective Pop-Up: Yarn, Supplies & Hands-On Instruction
About this Event
Fiber Collective is popping up again on August 15th! We had so much fun in June that we couldn't wait to plan another one.
Stop by anytime between 11am and 4pm to shop yarn, fiber arts supplies or handmade goods, or slow down for an afternoon and make something with your hands.
What's happening:
- 🪡 Drop-in instruction: felt a mushroom or weave your own bookmark/keychain. No experience needed
- 🛍️ Yarn, fiber arts supplies and local handmade goods for sale
- 🧵 Open craft all day. Come and go as you please
- 💵 Instructor access is $10, supply kits available on-site

Meet Your Instructors
- Maddy Wilson Art — Felting
Maddy is a multifaceted artist with a background in illustration, pet portraits, and fiber arts who has been felting for over three years. She'll be leading needle felting, where you'll learn the basics of shaping wool into a mushroom and adding color detail. Take home your own handmade creation same day! - Yarn Hoarder Goods — Weaving
Jamie is a central Virginia fiber artist whose love of knitting grew into spinning and eventually weaving. She'll be leading woven bookmark making, a satisfying beginner project you can complete and take home in one afternoon.
