Theme: Casting ripples of mindfulness into the sea of flourishing happiness in relationships within self and others of a stigma-free society.
The Mindful Walk (TMW)
A unique design, The Mindful Walk is a therapeutic walk by our resident curator, Juliana Johari. It emphasises the psychological aspect, building rapport, encouragement, and supportive roles moving forward.
Synopsis:
It is a therapeutic event emphasising the psychological aspect, building rapport, encouragement, and supportive roles.
The walk is not just a walk from point A to B but comprises positive psychology with mindfulness. The walk itself promotes several health benefits such as psychological and physiological.
Participants will be encouraged to practice Mindfulness during the walk, maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and the surrounding environment.
They will go through a series of reflective questions to look inward into themselves and experience past difficult moments, then release those thoughts and positively look ahead into the present by acknowledging their difficulties and building on their strengths.
Learning Outcome.
- At the end of the experience, participants will gain new perspectives in life and realign their attention to working on their strengths. Hence, they will gain new confidence and express gratitude.
Important Note
Each registration Admit 1 Adult Only
- Look out for FH officials wearing a lanyard
- Tees Attire: Any Shades of blue
