The Federation of Global Tamils (FGT) is proud to coordinate its First International Research Conference on the prospects for integrated development of the North and East of Sri Lanka and the role of the diaspora, taking place October 10-11, 2025, at the University of Toronto Scarborough.

This hybrid conference brings together leading scholars, practitioners, and experts from around the world to explore pathways for sustainable development in Sri Lanka's North and East, with a focus on collaboration, policy innovation, and diaspora engagement.
