Dear All,
We are pleased to invite you for a special event marking 10 years of The Guardian Project. The event will take place on Friday 6 February 2026 (9.30am–2.00pm) at Eastern Pearl, Manchester, and coincides with the International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM. This commemorative event will bring together professionals, partner agencies, and community members to:
- Celebrate a decade of safeguarding children and young people from FGM
- Share learning and best practice in prevention and early intervention
- Strengthen multi-agency collaboration across health, social care, education, policing and the voluntary sector
- Stand together in zero tolerance to FGM
A free three course meal will be served on the day.
An early registration is strongly encouraged as there are limited spaces available. We would be grateful if you could also share this invitation within your networks where appropriate.Thank you for your continued commitment to tackling FGM and in safeguarding children and young people, we very much look forward to welcoming you on the day.
Warm regards,
