FGIDallas 2025 Scholarship Competition

We invite college and university students in fashion design and merchandising studies to participate and compete for more than $40,000 in scholarship awards in four categories. Fashion design categories include Black Tie/Bridal, Cocktail/Party, Daywear/Streetwear and Apparel Sustainability. Digital merchandising categories include Digital Merchandising and Store Planning, Fashion Portfolio and the newly added Digital Sustainability- 3D Collection.

The top awards will be Fashion Excellence and Director’s Choice. We will once again offer the Paris American Academy Couture Award for 2025. In addition to awarding our scholarship winners, we are providing learning opportunities for our attendees through interactive programming with local fashion professionals.

The competition will include a daytime event for students to interact with and learn from top industry professionals. The evening award show will feature finalists and their designs in an award presentation.

Students will get more details on what judges looked for during the judging, receive constructive feedback on portfolios as well as industry insight. Students will then get a chance to mix and mingle with the judges and ask any other questions.
