About this Event
Publishing Ireland will host a pitching session for members to speak directly to the programmers of The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival 2023.
Members of Publishing Ireland can participate in this Fever Pitch session with
- Nicola Tuxworth (Head of Programming)
- Lyndsey Fineran (Deputy Head of Programming)
- Ellie Petrie (Festival Programme Manager)
- Sophie Hoult (Literature Festival Programme Manager)
- Emma Whittle (Programming and Strategic Engagement Lead
- Literature and Science Festivals) and Emily Davis (Festivals Administrator)
The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival will run from 6 Oct - 15 Oct 2023.
The programmers are interested in authors who write fiction, non-fiction and children’s literature. Specific information such as where the author is based is helpful, and thoughts on potential pairings are useful but not essential.
We ask that publishers pitch up to five titles in a maximum of five minutes each – this timing will be regulated on the day. The presentations will be recorded and available for programmers to watch on catch-up.
Please send your presentation, which should cover one slide per title, one title per minute, as a PowerPoint presentation in 16:9 ratio, to [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] by Monday, 23 January. The slides will be compiled into a single slideshow that will be shared on Zoom by the host at the session.
Zoom joining details will be sent in advance Please register interest and email [email protected] for a PPT template to use.
