Fete des Fables: Deep in the Forest

You’re invited! Join the Douglas County Libraries Foundation as we go Deep in the Forest to recreate the Brothers Grimm’s classic story, following Hansel & Gretel’s capture and escape from an old woman who means them only harm.

Come to the gala in your finest—or a favorite themed outfit! Enjoy signature cocktails, a delicious catered dinner and delectable desserts. Talk with special guests, revel in remarkable entertainment such as axe throwing and listening to beautiful classical music as you explore the mansion. Guests will also experience the fun of a silent auction, where you just might find the treasure of your dreams.

You'll leave with wonderful memories of a favorite childhood tale, and know that because of your support, your libraries will continue to be great places for young and old—where all can enjoy reading, discovery and connection for generations to come.
